This is one of my favorites I've seen so far. Again, very nice work. Nice gradient work on the hair. It's challenging blending hard edge shadows and highlights with soft ones, but you pulled it off nicely. I see what you mean about the background. Background needs some tweaking to work with the character. Change the perspective on the immediate background, make it a little more interesting. Could probably blur the distant background, make it look out of focus. What's the white splotchy stuff? Other than than mess with some of the settings under the image menu (I assume this is Photoshop). But yeah, this does look really, really good!
